Wednesday Non-fiction novel "autograph" is due today Drama terms and devices handout. Socrative game.  Soliloquy movie comparisons for the “original” Macbeth and the modernized Macbeth. We looked at the videos again to help with the completion of the charts. Macbeth's soliloquy, " To be thus is nothing..." On the script, brainstorm and write down all the assumptions you have about what is going in MacB’s troubled mind. Select the assumption that you believe best captures the BIG IDEA of the speech. Write it on your post-it. In your group, one-at-a-time, choose someone else’s assumption strip. The person in your group with the longest hair gets to go first. The first person (i.e. person with the longest hair) will ask the person whose assumption they chose, 2 questions about their assumption. After the third answer is given, that person chooses an assumption they want to know about, and questions its author. This continues until everyone has spoken about

Friday Novel autograph, 3 paragraphs Paragraph 1-3 briefly discuss the setting, plot, characters in your non-fiction as much as that is possible given that this is not a fictional novel. See me if you are having trouble understanding what to write for the first 3 paragraphs. 2 paragraphs In the middle of your novel autograph, discuss the main topics and main people in the book. 1 paragraph In the last paragraph, discuss what you think the author's message is about life, society or human behaviour. Discuss why you think this is the theme and support with a brief discussion. Pick one quote from the book that supports your view of the theme.
